Erosive damage to teeth is a growing problem, especially in younger patients This rarely causes symptoms that these patients will complain of, except in the advanced phases of the disease. Early recognition and management of erosive damage is essential to prevent the need for extensive, and costly, treatment later in life.
Dr John Cho looks forward to discussing the recognition of this problem and suggest techniques for management.

ABOUT JOHN
Dr John Cho is a prosthodontist who has been in specialist practice in Canberra for ten years, and lectures both nationally and internationally on topics in reconstructive dentistry. Dr Gil Labour has recently retired from a long career in General and academic practice. Gil, who is a qualified wine judge and a former food and wine critic for the Canberra Times, has been involved in developing prevention and management protocols for dental erosion through his contacts in the wine industry, where dental erosion is a recognised WHS hazard. As an added bonus, Gil will also provide tips on wine tasting and appreciation to members attending this meeting.
