Dr. Arpana Devi | BDS, GDip(Endo), GCertEd(TertTeach), DClinDent(Endo)
We had a fantastic turnout of nearly 70 dentists (and a couple of hygienists!) last night at the Otis Dining Hall for our first dinner seminar of the year. The ACT Dental Group warmly welcomed newcomer and presenter Dr. Arpana Devi. It was great to have Arpana share with us some of her research with Professor Paul Abbott AO, as well as revisiting some history, going to back to the basics and looking at the latest tools used to detect and manage cracked teeth.
Event information: The management and diagnosis of cracked teeth can be difficult due to the numerous terminologies and classifications in literature. The array of clinical symptoms that are associated with this condition can confuse the professional and make its management challenging. This seminar will concentrate on the clinical features, diagnosis and management of cracked teeth.
About the presenter: Arpana studied a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Endodontics) at the University of Western Australia, before completing a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Endodontics) at the University of Otago. From 2008 - 2013, Arpana worked as a lecturer at the Fiji National University, as well as taking the role of Endodontic Module Coordinator and continuing clinical work at the same time. As a recipient of many scholarships, research grants and awards, Arpana has had the opportunity to present her research at numerous conferences. She has also published in multiple respected journals within the field of Endodontics. Arpana has recently moved to Canberra to join the team at Canberra City Endodontics.
When: Tuesday, 21 March | 6:30pm
Where: Otis Dining Hall: 29 Jardine St, Kingston
